Are there any great co-op titles that are underrated or have gone unnoticed by the community?
If so, please state the game and tell us why.

Timesplitters 2, Desert Storm series, Army men series, James Bond: Nightfire, Road Rash etc

Great titles, they are fairly old but i dont think they got the praise they deserved. Some of the best co-op moments of my life, funny as fuck & a nice challenge at the same time.

Crackdown, Gears of War, Borderlands.
For older ones: Timesplitters 2, Army Men 1 and 2, tons of James Bond games for N64/Gamecube.

Vesperia had Co-Op but damned if my friends and I could figure it out. Mind you we didn't try that hard.

It was easy enough to figure out but it wasn't really that much fun even when you did.

It seems to me that local two player co-op is a thing of the past...a real shame really as it always used to be one of my favourite types of gaming experiences.

Star Trek: Legacy promised me co-op. I bought it, invited my mate over to engage in some co-op Borg-bashing, Klingon-killing and Romulan-ruining and it turned out the box was lying. There is no co-op.
