Yeah I forgot to mention lean. Even in the campaign I kept hitting Q and E (I use those for leaning) and each time was like "damnit, right! No leaning". It's kind of annoying when playing on the hardened and veteran difficulties to HAVE to expose so much of your body around a corner given how crack shot the AI can be later in the campaign. (one hilarious incident is when one of them nailed me in the head while I prone and barely exposed through a small window, which also had a car in front of it. He then shot through the car windows, through the small window to the room and dinged me in the head while I was exposed for probably less than a second).mdk31 said:I play on PC. I dislike the lack of dedicated servers (at least, in the un-hacked versions. You can get a hack that re-adds the dev console and dedicated server access), I dislike the inability to lean around corners (also re-added via mod/hack thing), and I dislike the smallness of the games.
I like the AC-130 though.
The second to last part of the last sentence in the first paragraph mentions lean. Lol.AC10 said:Yeah I forgot to mention lean. Er, wow, disregard that. I thought you said I forgot to mention lean. I'm tired.
I haven't played MW2 online, but I'm wondering how it's spawn logic compares to CoD5: World at War? I found the spawning in WaW to be insufferable on a bad day.CORRODED SIN said:-spawn logic.
Ugh, dont get me started. Once its broken in a match it gets down right retarted. Ive spawned and immediately had 4 enemies spawn around me, each saw fit to shoot me in the face. Afterwards it was a spawn-die cycle.AC10 said:I haven't played MW2 online, but I'm wondering how it's spawn logic compares to CoD5: World at War? its not REALLY improved. spawn locations are better, i mean this is IW. you dont spawn in the middle of a gunfight like you do in W@W, but i consider bad spawning to be running into an enemy with in 5 seconds of spawing. spawing FACING an enemy claymore (which i have done twice). Or spawing in the long sight lines for snipers.AC10 said:I haven't played MW2 online, but I'm wondering how it's spawn logic compares to CoD5: World at War? seriously though, a lot of the time, especially on normal, im afraid to go outside a building because theres a sniper looking down any hall or space longer than 10 feet. i have noticed very few people snipe in hardcore, since weapons have range, and not every encounter is CQC.
you dont get spawn camped in hardcore like you do in some normal gametypes, but there are more campers, and possibly a little more bullshit in it. but as long as you have a good connection, the bs is down. but i digress. spawn camping has always been a problem in the CoD multiplayer arenas.
