Well I'm a PC guy, but I love the throwing knife and hate the aimbotters/hackers.

I only played campaign on my rommmates PC, not played it online. The campaign was a blast but the writing had numerous plot holes that really left me scratching my head.

I play on PC. I dislike the lack of dedicated servers (at least, in the un-hacked versions. You can get a hack that re-adds the dev console and dedicated server access), I dislike the inability to lean around corners (also re-added via mod/hack thing), and I dislike the smallness of the games.

I like the AC-130 though.

Also, I don't like how short the campaign was. Beat it on Veteran in 5 hours 12 minutes.

Well, I wasn't a fan of the first one, and this looks equally bland and uninspired (to me, at least,) and it also happens to be making Activision, currently the most evil company in gaming, rich. On the other hand, the amount of sales is certainly helping to strengthen the gaming market, and maybe the economy as a whole.

Oh, was I supposed to be talking about the game itself? Actually I haven't played it.

Yeah I forgot to mention lean. Even in the campaign I kept hitting Q and E (I use those for leaning) and each time was like "damnit, right! No leaning". It's kind of annoying when playing on the hardened and veteran difficulties to HAVE to expose so much of your body around a corner given how crack shot the AI can be later in the campaign. (one hilarious incident is when one of them nailed me in the head while I prone and barely exposed through a small window, which also had a car in front of it. He then shot through the car windows, through the small window to the room and dinged me in the head while I was exposed for probably less than a second).

The second to last part of the last sentence in the first paragraph mentions lean. Lol.

Er, wow, disregard that. I thought you said I forgot to mention lean. I'm tired.

overall i love the game. i loved the first. so with that, here are the things i hate:

-campers.
-spawn logic.
-camp-friendly map design.
-ghille suits.
-under-powered weapons.
-over-powered weapons.
-death streaks.
-akimbo (any weapon)

if you would like an explanation of why for any of these things, kindly quote and i will respond with an explanation. I would explain each one, but theres a bottle of vodka calling my name.

I haven't played MW2 online, but I'm wondering how it's spawn logic compares to CoD5: World at War? I found the spawning in WaW to be insufferable on a bad day.

Ugh, dont get me started. Once its broken in a match it gets down right retarted. Ive spawned and immediately had 4 enemies spawn around me, each saw fit to shoot me in the face. Afterwards it was a spawn-die cycle.

its not REALLY improved. spawn locations are better, i mean this is IW. you dont spawn in the middle of a gunfight like you do in W@W, but i consider bad spawning to be running into an enemy with in 5 seconds of spawing. spawing FACING an enemy claymore (which i have done twice). Or spawing in the long sight lines for snipers.

seriously though, a lot of the time, especially on normal, im afraid to go outside a building because theres a sniper looking down any hall or space longer than 10 feet. i have noticed very few people snipe in hardcore, since weapons have range, and not every encounter is CQC.

you dont get spawn camped in hardcore like you do in some normal gametypes, but there are more campers, and possibly a little more bullshit in it. but as long as you have a good connection, the bs is down. but i digress. spawn camping has always been a problem in the CoD multiplayer arenas.
