Some of you may remember that I made a thread in this forum way back, whining as I tend to do about how worthless I am. I'd just like to apologize for bothering anyone with it.

Secondly, I am finishing up my third semester in university now and I have currently failed twice as many classes as I have passed and I'm not even doing a "real" college degree a.k.a anything with science in it, just a regular English degree. I know it sounds stupid that the only people I can talk to about it are on the internet but I've seriously just considered dropping out and looking for a job somewhere instead of trying to find one alongside college, especially since it looks like I'll be failing even more classes this semester.

I basically have no idea what to do with my life and even if I can do anything with my life. i've been told that maybe I should try studying something else but I just think I'm far too stupid to really be good at anything else.

So yeah... What do?

sounds like you are not enjoying your studies and that is probably why you are not doing well at it as its bloody hard to learn when you have no interest in it or worse actively dislike it, personally I would make a decision on what you want to do and think about the reasons why then just go for it.

As for success it usually comes to those to busy to look for it so I wouldnt worry about trying to find it, but failure is also important otherwise success would have no meaning.

You seem to be hard on yourself which is good but you need to find something you can put some resolve in and push yourself through something that you enjoy and feel has worth dont give yourself excuses like I dont have time or Im too stupid just do it and keep doing it until you succeed or you can honestly say I gave it my all but still failed.

You need to make your own decision at this crossroads though and dont let others sway you it is your life do what you want so that you dont look back with regrets and if it turns out you made the wrong choice deal with it because it was your own to make then just keep climbing towards where you want to be.

The only reason I chose to try an English degree is that it was the only class I didn't do horribly in when I was in highschool. I really don't know what else I could possibly try studying...

Believe me, if I had ever gotten to make my own decicions in life I would most likely have just screwed it up more than I already have. But I still always blame myself for my (many) failures because just because I don't make choices myself doesn't mean that the results aren't my fault. I just always feel like I constantly dissapoint everyone around me.
