All right, so I've just finished up adjusting my schedule for my first semester of college, and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Mondays and Fridays off, with a total of 15 credits in four classes. This experience made me wonder about the schedules of other people, so I just have to ask - what are/were your best and worst college schedule experiences? And if you have never been, just insult me for flaunting it and tell me about some other crappy/amazing schedule you've had to deal with.

My schedule this semester is pretty kick A. Classes from 11 to one all MWF and 12 to 2 Tuesday and Thursday. I'm on the Cross Country Team so I have practice at 6am everyday so the cush timing on classes lets me go home and sleep a few more hours after practice. I love it...
Oh! im a sophomore and am also taking 15 hours too.

I only attended higher education for a month or something, but our schedule was pretty awesome.... One class a week, with a few optional theory lessons.

I had absolutely no spare time at all however. So... much... homework!

I generally fill up my schedule with as many classes as it can hold. Next semester I start every day at 8:00 and classes end at 5:00 with 2 one hour openings. Except Monday and Thur I get done at 1:00 on Mondays and Thur I just have an 8:00-9:15 and a 2:00-4:50.

Senior year in college and they've all been pretty much like this.

My favorite semester, I had MWF off and had full days Tues and Thurs. The worst things are late night classes the same day as early morning classes...pick either morning or evening classes, both in one day is exhausting.

Well, let's see.
Monday/Wednesday: Class at 8. Class at 9. Class at 11. Class at 12:30. Lab from 2-6.
Tuesday: Nothing
Thursday: Class at 11.
Friday: Class at 8. Class at 9. Class at 11. Improv rehearsal from 12-2. Peer Mentor stuff from 2-3:45 or something.

Edit: and I'm a sophomore in an honors program... so I pretty much work my ass off. -_-

I'm taking 5 classes worth 15 credit hours, but 3 are studio art classes, which means I will actually spend 6 hours a week in each rather than just 3. So I'll be earning 15 credit hours and spending 24 hours in class a week. It's going to be a fun semester.

Worst: 9:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. everyday with a 2 hour bus ride to the college and back. That schedule was a huge mistake.

Best: 1 class 2 days a week from 4:30-7:00 P.M. with 2 (fairly easy) online classes. I would say that is probably the best schedule I have ever had. Very relaxing.

Can't log in to see what my classes were exactly, but I am pretty sure it was 4 classes on M and W. From 8am to 1 or 2pm. So 4 days to get my shit done I think. This is my first year of college. Went to ITT for a couple of months before I realized how much it sucked and then started at OSU.

Every year I get a little screwed. Second semester of my freshman year, 8:00am class I couldn't get out of because it was required.

I've never had a Friday off because my professors apparently love having to work friday's.
Damn Psych professors.

You're lucky for having so many day's off, but I don't envy you for taking three four credit classes. Good luck with that.
Not saying it's impossible or anything, but it can be a gamble.

My next semester goes like this:
Mondays: 5pm-6:15pm*, 6:30pm-9pm*.
Tuesdays: 11am-12:15 pm, 2pm-3:15 pm.
Wednesday: 11am-1:45pm (lab), 5pm-6:15pm*, 6:30pm-9pm*.
Thursdays: Same as Tuesdays.
Fridays: Off.

I don't mind night classes, though I do tend to get a bit hungry. I have two classes with two of my favorite professors though. The asterisks indicate graduate level courses.

My worst was a day where I had class from 9:30am to 8:45pm, which was this past spring semester. My best was probably a semester where I dropped a class, and only had classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

I had about 30 hours a week before I dropped out of Applied Biosciences, with numerous 3-hour labs. It would have been okay if I'd liked the subject, but alas.. Should be different in my new course, though.

You Arts people seem to have it easy, as long as you're good at essays.

Unfortunately, although I could choose my tutorial and practical times, I couldn't choose my lectures, so I'm going in every day. At least I'm no longer doing 1:30 hour commutes.

Don't compare things like this over the internet.

People from different nations, different career paths and different ambitions generally can't be compared.

However, as a friendly reminder:
College time isn't so that you get four out of seven days of the week off.
