I have a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier called "Le Male." I like the scent, it's a little sweet and a fresh smelling. It's in a spray bottle.

This is my advice for spray bottles. Spray some on 1 wrist and then rub your wrists together. Then rub both wrists against your neck. You're set. 1 is all you need.
This advice for application works really well, I usually use two squirts myself but I find it stands out more while in a bar is all.

Myself I use either Lacoste Red or the Essentials Sport from the same maker

I don't mean to poop on anyone's party, but I'm not really fond of cologne. A bit of deoderant to make sure a guy doesn't stink is well and good, but cologne rarely smells nice and is often overpowering. Before you say "just don't use too much", if you can smell it at talking distance I find it's too much.

Disclaimer: Just my opinion etc.

Bollocks... first thing I thought of when clicking was that delightful city in Rhine-Westphalia and its architecture... though not entire unrelated...

Sorry dude, don't use it, I hardly use deodorant, only after strenuous exercise (and before anyone accuses me of being gross, continue reading).

Likewise... if a woman is wearing perfume around me, I only want to be able to smell it within one and a half metres at most... Sometimes, even when people only 'splash a little on', it's hideously overpowering but that's not hard when you're hyperonosmic. Seriously, there are a lot of people I either can't stand to be around for more than a few moments or have to hold my breath around because they're very odourous... -_- As for me, I've been commented upon for smelling of... well, nothing except the fabric softener used on my fleeces, which generally doesn't smell of anything either. (No comparisons to Grenouille, please...)

I have some diesel, and every female ever to smell it has adored it. I forget what it's called, but it came in a little zip up pouch and spray bottle. Invest wisely, my friend.

I have a strong sense of smell but have never really given it much thought. I just wear cologne that other people give me :p

Abercrombie&Fitch(Sp?) Fierce Cologne. Every girl that I have ever been with/know, has ALWAYS said that I smell amazing.

I just spray once up underneath my shirt. I never smell overpowering, but it leaves the faintest hint of me actually wearing it.

I'd have to recommend Joop! Homme for the unique and exotic aroma.

1 Million by Paco Rabanne is also great, if a little more conventional.
