So I'm getting ready for NYCC in a couple of weeks and just finished writing a blog post about why I think everyone should go, at least once, to check out the scene and I was wondering what everyone's reasons were for going to Cons or not going.

If you do go - what's your #1 reason?
If you don't, what's yours?

Just a question of curiosity, I guess, more than anything, but something I've never really sat down and asked anyone.

Just wondering...

These days, Comic Books are a niche. When I was younger, it was a niche that I never knew existed. When I grew older I became familiar with it second hand.
Never have I held a comic book.
I have read a few of them as a digital copy, but here there is no real market for such a thing.
Here's your answer.
