I'm a multiplayer gamer. I like competitive games.

I love Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2, Bad Company 2: Vietnam. I love these games, first and foremost because they're fun. They are exceptionally well made, and the thought of playing a game against people from all over Europe/World still fascinates me.

I've been a gamer all my life, but I've never felt compelled to play single player games. I almost always lose interest because the gameplay in not very interesting and the plot and story sucks, where I never feel anything for the characters because they're just so hollow.

The only games I've ever completed are: Max Payne, Metal Gear Solid Games 1-3 (haven't yet played the fourth), and some random Ratchet and Clank game I played early last year.

It was yesterday I gave up on attempting to get into Half Life 2 since the gameplay is very boring and the story was lacking even though I was half way through. I would've completed the game if their was either a compelling plot or gameplay.

My lack of interest in single player games is due to stories being told that don't particularly interest me, or due to poor character development, or gameplay that's either not fun or gets 'samey' too quickly.

I plan on re-buying a PS3 because I have a sudden urge to play some compelling, fun, single player games.

Here's a list of games I've created I hope to play:

Killer 7 (PS2)
Okami (PS2)
Viewtiful Joe (PS2)
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus - Remastered (PS3)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Catherine (PS3 - when it's released)
Journey (PS3 - when it's released)
LA Noire (PS3)
Uncharted 2 (PS3)
Just Cause 2 (PC)
Beyond Good & Evil (PC)
Psychonauts (PC)

You're thoughts would be most welcome.

p.s. I tried Bioshock but it scared the hell out of me.
