Consider buying the ps3 soon before the price decides to flip.

I might decide to trade in my 360 and its games to get the ps3 for once, and with the recent drop to 499 kangaroo coins the decision is harder to make. Problem is, after i munch through all the single player games, ill probably be left with modern warfare 2 when it comes out.

Anyway, can someone try to help me make my decision before doing something i regret?

Games like Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are very good online or so I've heard. MGS 4 is supposed to be very cool as well.

Do however consider that the PS3 slim is coming out in a bit and it'll be even cheaper

And consider, I don't own a PS3 so what I tell you is what I hear from other people

Whatever the coin lands on, you'll end up making the decision you really want to anyway. Whatever we say is just your attempt at validating a decision you've already made subconsciously and the coin will do that fine without our input anyway.

I heard somehwere with the ps3 slim that the price will only be low for 1 week, and with a new model there might be some hardware issues (overheating is probable) and these wont be reported within the 1 week timeframe so im trying to rule out the slim.

I wouldnt sell your 360 just to get a ps3. Save up some money and get a PS3 too. Then you have 2 amazing consoles. You have exclusives from both consoles and you get free online from the ps3

That's my vote, too. And that's what I'm planning on doing myself. I also haven't heard anything from a reliable source that the Slim will stay at the low price for only a week. At least not here in the States.
