Consumer Friendly Video Game Companies?

Whenever I hear about CD Projekt Red I often see people calling them one of the most, if not THE most consumer friendly video game companies out there, and it's certainly not hard to see why with their anti-DRM policies, free DLC, the GoG Platform which has cool things like GoG Connect, and several other interesting bits. It's a no brainer to call them consumer friendly.

Though I can't imagine they are the ONLY company that tries to do right by their consumer base (and actually has some measure of success). So I am interested to hear of as many examples as possible, tell me which game companies, whether they are developers, publishers, or both, you think are very pro-consumer and why. Aside from the one mentioned I'd love to hear about others.

Paradox is a mixed bag.

On one hand, DLC galore, it's pricey as fuck.

On the other, they keep in touch with their customers/fans, take their feedback on pretty much everything, shit out patches like crazy, and keep supporting their games for years. (Through aforementionned DLC)

Valve? I mean, fuck them for never getting on with Half-Life 3 but what little output they have is always top notch QA and they have a history of patching/refining the games they release beyond demand or expectation.

I don't know that I'd consider the innovators of RNG loot crate gambling scam tactics consumer friendly myself. Activision (particularly) seems to have taken it and run whole hog with it, but Valve started it.

Good guy Atlus. They'll localize anything. We would never have gotten demon souls or rule of rose without them. They just don't give a fuck.

Sometimes they jack up the prices of their games, but seeing how niche the company is, I'm willing to let it go.

Games Workshop! Those guys are just so on the ball with deep and meaningful respect for their fans and customers, and they cultivate one of the best consumer/company relationships in the world!

I honestly can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but then again my main experience with GW is overpriced pieces of plastic and books that end up obsolete upon the release of new and inferior editions. As far as games go, I think they've gone a bit too bright with their newest Dawn of War, and I'm still annoyed by the cancellation of Space Marine 2.

Atlus:
Had a bad disc, brand new and wouldn't run...fucking Rule of Rose, back in the PS2 Era...and they sent me a replacement game.
I asked if they wanted me to return the other one and they were like 'nah, it happens, make a neat coaster out of it!

GOG:
NEVER had an issue when talking with their customer support, unlike Steam.

On the bright side, the launch editions of those games with slightly higher prices usually come with goodies. Like how SMT IV came with an artbook and soundtrack. And if you're patient, they get discounted in a few months.
