Continue or reboot a TV series

So say you are watching television. Most likely that show had a definite end, and hopefully it had all loose ends tied, and had enough of a satisfying ending not to allow for continuation. But even with a good ending or not, you may wish it to continue. Or if a show isn't turning out good or you, you would like to rework it.

So Escapist, what show is that?

Here was a goofy idea that hopefully isn't used, we take the story from the Original Digimon, and continue with the story they were hinting at, where it's now set in 2030, Earth is now acting like imperialists with a whole world that is acsessed to them and now tensions are high as The Digimon are led by a disgruntled UN technician now El Presidente.

All Morally grey. Really not the best idea anyone has ever made.

Seriously: Continue; John Doe, Dark Angel (I liked where it was going I wanted to see how it would turn out), Flash Forward, Angel (Way better than Buffy), Jericho, Jeremiah (Had Luke Perry and was a kind of interesting idea), Dexter's lab, Johnny Bravo

Reboots though, I dunno... A spiderman and/or batman that isn't shit would be pretty cool.

Jericho. I really liked that show, and it was really good at the beginning. By the end, due to them having to wrap it up, it felt rushed and dipped in quality.

Yes, firefly was great, but there's really nowhere you can take it as a TV series. The movie kinda wrapped up alot of stuff. There's room to take off after the movie, but it would never really be the same.

ReBoot, though... It would be outstanding to have a new, updated continuance.

I might be the only person who wants Heroes to continue, though that didn't have a definitive end.

The best way to continue the story, in my opinion, would be to center it around new characters in the same universe. What the Avatar cartoon is doing. The only problem with that, same as the Avatar cartoon, is that the shows tend to leave loose story threads if the people making it really want to continue with it.

they should never restart
