These were studies by Professor Melanie Killen. They could be the same study, but they could also be separate studies, but once of them is more updated. If you combine the two together, this is what the results say.
1) Video games could change our view of stereotypes
2) You should check to see how your kid is observing the game
3) You should limit video game time to 30 minutes for kids, and 1 hour for adults
4) Video games could affect the kid's academics (good or bad)
5) More males find stereotypes in video games are acceptable then females.
The study doesn't say anything about not being able to tell the difference between real life and fictional life. The only thing that could change our interactions to the real world is acedemics and how me might perceive a person based on clothing, attitude, whatever differently based on first impression. But isn't this what Fox and Cooper doing?
