I read quite a bit of members here on the ole' escapist talking about cosplay, was interested in how good they were

anyone wanna post pictures of there cosplay? i'm quite possibly being taken to an anime convention and wanna know what kind of quality to expect and possibly live up to

Anyway, cosplay pictures...I don't have any, myself, but I should be cosplaying at the next London animé expo.
Although, that is quite a way off... kinda.
I was a bit miffed that I wasn't able to at the last one >.>
Although, I'd have to go as a character with pink hair, because I don't want to waste my hair dye after it took so long to find...

White folks generally suck at cosplay.
Most people on the escapist are gonna be white.
Thus this is going to be an extremely small topic unless users just post decent pictures from professional cosplayers.

There are all sorts of cosplay good and bad there, and if you're in bad cosplay, no one cares. You may not get complimented, glomped, or be asked to take pictures but some people think that's a good thing. Especially that middle one. If you buy a costume online, they usually look the best but can cost a pretty penny.

If you want to impress a girl the best thing you can do is act in character. If you do have a bad cosplay and are in character you will still be awesome. It's a lot harder than it sounds, but after a while it's lots of fun.

I'm the one with glasses and no wig. It doesn't look as good, but I was still recognizable. However when me and Greed were playing keep away I don't think anyone cared, they just liked watching Greed tease Ed.
