Could you you kill a person? Could you both mentally and physically bring yourself to end a life? And if you did, would you be able to live with guilt over it, no matter what sort of person you killed?

I would never be able to do it, I wouldn't be able to live with guilt, and I deeply fear if it will have consequences in the afterlife (not trying to start religious debate).

No matter what side they're fighting for, or whether they're a good or bad person, I just wouldn't be able to do it.

Also, by 'could' I mean, could you make yourself do it? As in, WOULD you?

Depends why I needed to kill them. If I had enough of a justification then I reckon I could.

Maybe. They say everyone is capable of it. And there's always accidents. For what it's worth though I'd rather not.

Why am I killing this person? If I'm killing this person for no reason, then no I couldn't do it and no I couldn't live with myself even if I did. If I'm killing this person because they're about to axe-murder my family then f*ck yeah I could kill someone and f*ck no I wouldn't feel bad about it. Context please.

Probably not, maybe if it was part of a struggle and I didn't realise how much bodily damage I was doing to them, you know, adrenaline and all.

In a calm environment, then no, I wouldn't be able to do it. I think it would pretty much destroy me as a person.

Although I'm a pacifist If someone tried to kill me I wouldn't think for a second. I would kill him.

It's a little hard to answer this question. It's easy to talk, but it's something completely diffrent to be in that situation.

Yes, Yes, and Yes.
It wouldn't matter to me, if I am killing them it would only be because my life or someone else's was in danger and they were a very violent person to begin with.

If I was supposed to kill some random dude, then sadly enough, yes. Meh to a child though.

If I was supposed to kill someone I know (A friend, GF/BF Family) Then I must sadly say again, Yes to friends, A BIG NO to GF/BF and a yes to family... It may help that I'm a sadistic b*stard though -_-

Yes, well it depends on the scenario. But if i was in a "Kill or be killed" situation id end him.
That or i ran into the 40 year old guy who slept with my 15 year old ex gf a few years back.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I could end another persons life. Doesn't matter how peaceful or bloody. I could do it without batting an eyelid.

Probably not, in my current state and environment. I don't think I've ever even hit someone full force intending to hurt them in my life (and there's been some situations in my life that might call for such actions from a certain kind of person).

If those things changed - if I was, say, in a Fallout situation or an Umbrella Corporation scenario, then probably yes - without much compunction.

More realistically, if some Taken type things went down, and I was somehow called upon to act in self-defense or the protection of another - then again, yes, because whatever consequences I suffered after with guilt and so forth would be willingly undertaken for a greater good yadda yadda.

I've done it before, and I'll do it again if it meant protecting my life and/or the life of a loved one.

I'm too much of a live and let live type person to really have the motivation to kill anyone. However, I've done two combat tours in the Army and that definitely changed the scope of things. I saw the big brazen soldiers claim they joined the Army to kill people turn into giant sopping wet 10 year old girls in fire fights and vice versa. All I'm trying to say really, is you've no idea what you're capable of when the situation calls for it.

Push anyone far enough, in a sufficiently dire situation, and they will act to kill someone deliberately.

As far as any situation I'm ever likely to be involved in? No.

I strongly believe in not picking a fight I can't run from, so it'd only ever be self-defence. Sure, it'd shake me up a lot, but I could live with it if I hadn't created the situation.

I probably could, if there was no law against it then I probably would have already killed my dad.
