I always have to roll my eyes at all of the ones that are slamming people with one skin tone or another. And, currently taking place on one of the CLs close to me, the discussion of O'bama vs. McCain. 9 out of 10 of the posters on both sides are complete goobs and their posts make no valid points or arguments.

Gawd, I remember poking into the 'rants n raves' section on the london one...never again.

its 99% either brits and americans hating each other, or just everyone calling each other gay. It really does seem a staple of the internet that people who can set up a PC, get an ISP organised and learn to use it, still can't come up with a better, more creative insult than 'u r a fag'. Still what can you expect from a bunch of illiterate bende- I mean foolish people! It really amuses me in a way that firstly, people think calling someone gay will anger them, and secondly, that it does.

Personally, I'd only be offended if you said I was bi, and then only because I couldn't handle twice the amount of rejection.

I use craigslist to make money (i trade goods online in my spare time) so it's fun to see the chronicles of failure.
Example 1:
MEDIEVAL CHESS SET! PAID 800, ASKING 500! WHAT A DEAL!
a week goes by...
MEDIEVAL CHESS SET! PAID 1000!!! ASKING ONLY 400! MUST SELL!
several weeks later
ABOUT TO BE HOMELESS SALE! MEDIEVAL CHESS SET, PAID 1500 DOLLARS (NO JOKE), ASKING ONLY 300! PLEASE HELP, I WILL BE KICKED OUT OF MY HOUSE IF I DON'T SELL BY APRIL 29!
I sent him an email along the lines of "Tough break man, maybe you shouldn't put all your eggs in one medieval chess set."

Since I'm in the video game reseller market and I have a lot of competitors, I see stores come and go. Ususaly spam the boards with requests for people to bring their stuff in so they can pay them 25% of the fair market value. One such store went down today, and they're having a going out of business sale
