So the other day my second Wireless Networking Adapter died for my Xbox 360 (Nobody tell me to go wired it's not physically possible in my house ok?) it was a week out of warranty which shits me to tears. Then I remembered all the other xbox shit I have that's just died or broken on me and I thought hey, there's no way I'm forking out for another!

To date I've had 5 xbox 360's, 3 dead wireless headsets, 2 dead WNA's, 1 dead 60GB HDD (Yeah I lost all my data too, MS just told me to buy a new one, cheers) I've had about 6 wired headsets though a couple of those breaking were the result of it trying to get in with my dog.

To me this is way to much, out of all those Microsoft has replaced 2 of the xbox's... Yeah not good enough, I'm over it. Escapists tell you're crappy accessory stories!

Oh, those wire headsets for the 360 were the worst. Honestly, I prefer those to the wireless but at least the wireless doesn't die on my every month.

... Not much else other than that.

All I can think of is this I broke three Playstation controllers because of the amount of time I spent pressing the X button in Gran Turismo 2...

I chew through headphones pretty quickly. I don't know what I do that strains them but one side goes dead every pair I get. Probably the way they flex when I take them off or something.

Have you tried not buying used items and using over $10?
These are all first party MICROSOFT PRODUCTS which have cost, usually upwards of $60. In fact the spare $0.99 headsets I've gotten off eBay have last longer than the Microsoft branded products.

I can't make much of a comment on this because I have never had an Xbox 360 or any accessories fail on me.

I just traded in my last 360 that I have had for at least two years for a 360 Elite. I guess I must one of the lucky people that does not seem to go through 360 after 360.
I'm the same. I've never understood all the complaints about the 360, really, because I've owned mine for a couple of years and played the hell out of it. Not even a sign of trouble. Even the controllers are tough old bastards, back when I was playing Dragon Age my girlfriend spilled red wine all over one and stuck all the buttons down with goop. After a week of working them loose, it's good as new again.

In fact, I can't understand how the OP broke a Wireless Network Adaptor - mine has been knocked around, dropped, been kept at the bottom of a bag while I dragged it from hotel to hotel, etc. It still works perfectly. What did you do to it?

I've had my xbox 360 elite since it first came out, never had a problem with it, my wireless adaptor runs like a dream and still using the original wired headset that came with my xbox 360.

Seems like your just really unlucky.

Can't really think of any, as not many things break on me.

I once had a wireless PS2 controller that worked for... about 30 seconds. It angered me.

Just like my wireless headset it randomly died overnight because it felt like it... Maybe I should have unplugged it and taken it for a walk around the park once a week -_-
