Craziest Halo stories

I just wanted to see what stories there were about the lunacy some people must have passed or had happen to them in any of the Halo games.
Mine is from the first Halo, during the Library level on Heroic. Me and my step brother were going co-op, and we came up to a group of carriers (fatboys), and I proceeded to lob two grenades at them (yes, idiocy ensued). The frag landed behind one, while the plasma grenade attached itself to the fatboy. The frag detonated first, shooting the carrier towards me. All I got in was "Oh, cr-" which proceeded to explosions and massive hilarity.

I was in a halo PC lan once in high school and i was sniping from a base in blood gulch. A warthog full of teammates ramped off a hill in the middle of the map right when i fired and i sniped the driver... fail...

My first Halo 3 ranked game was shotty snipers. Half of our team left, making it a 2v4 or 2v3 (one of them might have left). I basically shotgunned our team's way to a tie of 35-35. In the last second of a game, I fire a random snipershot. And I get a headshot. Win.

And then there was this once when I stuck a banshee from a moving mongoose. That was pretty cool.

In halo 3 on the Ark, i was shooting apart the Scarab so much that it started to collapse and lowered itself. I hopped onto it, killed all the crew and proceeded to start shooting the engine core. After 2 magazines and grenades, the core didnt change or break apart. It was at that point that i realised the only reason the scarab collapsed in the first place was because i destroyed the core from the tank.

I started running, everything went in slow motion and the scarab blew up just as i jumped off, catapulting my body off the level.

I was playing Halo: Combat Evolved's multi-player against some friends when one of them snuck up beside me and began firing at my head. So before I died I threw a grenade at him. He killed me, I killed him. Crazy, eh?

I was playing Firefight on Crater (Halo 3: ODST) with three friends online. There were 5 brutes left. Two captains, two minors, and a chieftain with a fuel rod gun. My three friends were taking care of the other four brutes, but the chieftain was charging up the stairs and was about to get up to the top level and kill them all from behind. I ran towards him, hit him in the face, and got him to follow me back down the stairs and into the little alcove (there's two of them, perpendicular to where you start out the level, about midway down the stairs to each side of the map). I used up all my ammo for my smg on him and I had already used up all my pistol ammo, so all that was left was my melee. I started hitting him, strafing left and right and dodging his melee attacks. It looked like we were actually brawling, to be honest. Then, all of a sudden, he ***** slapped me so hard I flew out of the alcove, across the map, hit the wall on the other side, and fell on top of one of the brute captains my friends were fighting. Then a grenade they had thrown killed the brute captain I had fell on and launched by body back a few feet.

It was absolutely insane. Especially the part where I got ***** SLAPPED BY A BRUTE CHIEFTAIN. I went back in Theatre and watched it and it was absolutely hilarious. I should probably post it on Bungie.net and YouTube.

i was playing halo 2 with my friend and he got the scarb gun i couldnt do it(still cant) but it was so funny when he said dont worry i got this aimed at the scarb and jumped ..........and compleatly missed the dam thing i laughed my ass off

I was sick, my blood pressure meds hadn't arrived and I had teeth that needed to be pulled (thankfully happening today) about two months ago and my mom and dad went out to get groceries and my meds (I still live at home because of a stroke I had that partially paralyzed me and messed me up pretty bad) and when they got home my dad handed me a copy of Halo Wars. He doesn't know modern games and doesn't know and RTS from a MMO, but it was just nice of him to think of me and pick me something up.

I never play Halo or RTS' and I put it in my 360. By the end of the next week I have Starcraft and the three main Halo games. I know it's not the best RTS or Halo game, but that one game got me interested in the genre and series that I had, up until that point, never gave a second glance at.

So, yeah it's not a crazy Halo story as such, but it is kind of crazy that it was a Halo RTS that brought me into both of the worlds.

Well one time I was in a banshee and my brother shot me with the spartan laser and the debris of my banshee fell down and hit and killed him.

Once while playing Halo 3 co-op, my friend and I were taking a scarab down with tanks. When it blew, I guess he was just a little too close. It blew his tanks so far that it got suck in the edge of the map. Spinning like a top. Hilarity ensued as I tried to get him down.

Back in Halo 2, I was driving a tank around and accidentally drove it over some of those energy barricades that I'd shot down. One of them popped up right under me and threw the tank clear out of the map. I just about killed myself from laughing.

Halo Combat Evolved.

In the Silent Cartographer, i had just skipped the "shafted" mini cut scene quite normally and proceeded to the other room to wipe out the enemies on legendary.

They were there..
Frozen in time.
I punched them and blood came out (in the back gave me grenades!) so i decided to stick the elites.. the grenades stuck, then stopped. Joining them in this time loop..
Weirded out and laughing i stuck everyone in the room and proceeded onwards.

Once i had left the room and the door was just about to the shut i hear many screams of death and explosions and time restored.
Priceless.

Multiplayer?
Me- "Hey michael, can you cover me? i am on a untouchable spree and am going to get ammo."
"really?, i just got an invincible spree"
"Me, Really? Awesome!"

The game ended as a 3-0 win (it was CTF with 4 vs 8, we were the 4.) 55 kills and 5 deaths to my friend michael, 33 kills and 0 deaths for me. I called it my "Perfect Invincible."
(despite perfections only allowed on Slayers.)

This actually happened to me and my friend. they was I think it was hammers on Halo 3 and I swung at one one guy and i sent him in the air without killing him and my friend is coming down with his hammer and hits the guy mid air. best.kill.ever
