Crisis in "The Name of the Wind" - Spoilers

So I'm currently about 100 pages from the end of The Name of the Wind and I've entirely lost interest. There have been moments in the book that I've really enjoyed: Kvothe's training with Ben, the killing of the troupe and when the chandrian showed up. I also really like the story within a story aspect. But honestly, I've been bored with it. Mainly since he joined the University.

On to the point (I'm not just complaining here). Does it pick up? Do you consider a Wise Man's Fear to be a better?

Personally I loved both of them in "wise man's fear" the university doesn't feature as heavily...don't want to say more for fear of spoilers
