In gaming what are some of your crowning moments of awesome.
For me it's finishing COD 4 on veteran and killing a brute chieftain with a plasma pistol in Halo 3:ODST.

I know this isn't technically a gaming achievement, but I slept with a girl named Alex Mercer.

And no, she did not look like this [http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/prototypeuniconrn.jpg].

[small]Also, when I beat Phantasy Star Online for the very first time. I nearly did a back flip out of joy![/small]

This one time in a Warsong Gulch match in World of Warcraft I was being chased while carrying the flag, hid behind the corner of a doorway and they all ran straight past me.
It sounds pretty lame but it was pretty cool at the time.

I know of Behemoths, but Gargantuas?

I'm gonna have to go with Bazooka Sniping, seeing as it's all that comes to mind.

As I just mentioned in another thread:

Beating the Water Temple in under 3 hours with no guide, my first time playing it.

And getting 1000GP in COD4.

Getting an open season (twenty consecutive kills with a shotgun without dying) in a game of SWATguns on Blackout in Halo 3, with two members of my team of 4 missing... This resulted in a few people on the other team rage quitting!
Nice reference to TV Tropes in the title by the way.

This.

Also, getting all 120 stars in Super Mario 64 and Galaxy and beating the Dragon in Kingdom Hearts on my second try. And probably an instance or two of me carrying the intelligence in TF2.

As much as I despise memes, I kind of wish this had become one.

Imagine Kratos or Captain Price in a pink dress on a unicorn...

I had the same feeling with Fallout 3. Not that it's particularly hard, but the sheer amount of time I spent maxing out three different characters was, well, time consuming. I'm especially proud of my bobblehead collection. Maybe the crowning achievement in that game.

Also, as I've mentioned before; beating Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 on veteran.

It's an enemy from a mod. They're like Super Mutants Behemoths, only they have more helath and can spawn in random super mutant locations. I was playing a melee character at the time, so my only option was to beat the shit out of it. All my good melee weapons broke in the process, so I was reduced to using a baseball bat.

Just recently when i was playing Modern Warfare Two. Killed Four people with a G18 in Afghan at the sniping ridge rounded the corner but got shot ran back like 10 feet away from them and got out my predator, double kill, then got a harrier strike. Multi-kill. Pretty smooth for a level 25 eh? Then i stood up and BAM! Sniper, level 5, little bastard...

My Fallout 3 activities are rather excessive too:

Every skill maxed to 100

Every bobblehead

Every location unlocked (including Vault 87 overground)

Every unique weapon and item displayed about my house

Every quest, side quest and DLC finished 100%...

All of this, twice.

However...

I don't have the full 1000GP because I don't like being evil. Ironic, huh?

Shooting Salazar from RE4 in the face with a rocket launcher and killing him in one hit was pretty fun, especially after dying so very, very many times the first playthrough.
