I never played the first Crysis, but this game definatly caught my attention, especially sence Crysis 2 is going to be released on consoles.

Anyways, I was just wondering what you guys thought about the demo. Personally, I had alot of fun with it, but I did encounter quite a few framerate slowdowns and some bugs. Nothing too serious though.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
ehh, it was ok, very pretty and it ran well but it felt allot like cod 4 (last cod I played) and Ive kind of grown beyond cod games, I like bullet travel time but also the lobby system sucks and its got gamespy, you only put gamespy on your game when you dont expect people to play it multi, Ive never seen gamespy used for multi where it worked well

Im mad about the 3 video options...gamer hardcore and that third one. I want advanced options and there is none :(. I always set the post FX and Shaders up high and the models down low as the shader overcompensates the models and i get more performance but i can't do that now of course.

Meh. Tried the demo when it was 360 exclusive but didn't really like. Redownloaded it yesterday and still meh. It just feels like a mix of most shoters out there. Killstreaks, unlocks (Not a bad thing when they are balanced, but with the small number we have in the demo it's hard to tell.), armor abilities of Reach (I know they were not, but that's how they felt.). My biggest complain with this game is that even when wearing the uber-awesome nanosuit, I feel sloppy when it comes to moving. Running takes energy, energy that would be best used in cloaking or armoring-up.

Lobbies and menus are also a [censor] to navigate.

It was pretty good except for the fact that it was obviously a console port, was buggy and there were no aussie servers.

Going to try it (hasn't been out in canada until just a while ago), but the trailers showed it to be a bit... generic. Sure it looks better than everything we've got, but it isn't trying anything too new. "Dull and grey-brown" was kind of tired two years ago and now it's been so overused that most people (myself included) are just sick of it. At least Morrowind did it when it still had character.

But that won't stop me from pretending to give it the benefit of the doubt.

When it wasn't busy freezing my 360 i caught glimpses of a generic shooter with aspirations of greatness... With cool Giant Death Lasers

Still not going on my must buy list

I couldn't play to any serious degree on account of the individual settings being locked out, the game hitting 15-20 FPS maximum on the minimum setting, and the fact that it was multiplayer. (Singleplayer, my much-more-favored game mode, doesn't take so much of a playability hit from lower framerates)

It CTD'd once, while loading a multiplayer game; you can't skip the company intro movies; and I never managed to kill anyone on account of my view not moving fast enough/accurately enough to keep enemies in my sights. Not to mention the half-second latency between key press/mouse move and actual action...
