i decided to make this thread because after playing the beta i am extremely disappointed with the multiplayer aspect of this game i mean i know its only a "beta" but you can still see how much is going to be in the game because most of the stuff isn't available in the demo and if its that easy to rank up like it is in the beta then i can guarantee that the level cap can and will be reached in the first 3 days. i don't know about crysis 1 online but is it better than this one to be honest i think they should of kept it PC exclusive

Why in the world should they keep it PC exclusive if they're trying to make money?

I feel like this game is getting all kinds of ridiculous, unfounded hate for a fucking beta test. Pretty sure it's just the Halo and CoD crowds coming out of the woodwork to shit-talk a game with the tech and the potential to claw its way to the top of the multiplayer pyramid.

I hope more people realize that very drastic changes can be made after a beta closes down. For all we know, they're going to look at the data and say "holy shit, we need to completely take this apart and rebuild it from scratch" Now recent games that had betas didn't have too many changes made between the beta and the final product, but really it all comes down to how the developers interpret the data and feedback they get.

No, im guessing the real dissapointment was it lost it´s Pc exclusivity.

I enjoyed it. I levelled up to 3 in the first match I played! It reminds me of COD mixed with Halo if you ask me but I struggled to find an axis sensitivity that worked for me as it always felt a little off. Hit detection was shocking but hey it's a beta so I can forgive the game. The map was very pretty and not too large. I'll be buying this from day one!

Just wrote a post and lost the whole thing. Despite being a PC FPS loyalist, I quite enjoyed the game, overall it was done really well (except for inverting the X-axis on the turret). Took me a bit to get the hang of it, and I still don't really have everything down pat, but I got myself up to a 1:1 K, and given I was playing on a gamepad it controlled quite well.

Also impressed that Crytek who made a name for themselves making games with punishing system requirements have Crysis 2 looking better than Crysis and with lower system requirements. Valve already did that, but Crytek pulling it off is even more impressive.
