So what do you guys have to say about it?

My main thought: This is so fking buggy.
I'm having about 10 times more crashes then Crysis, barely any "optimization", and right now it won't even load the second map. It gets to 99% and always crashes. This is just stupid, how can they release it like this?

Anything good that the gameplay had is killed by the awful crashes when it saves or loads maps. I'm only played for an hour or two though so have not tried MP, but I hear theres a lot of problems with getting that to work as well.

I feel I must continue changing ram (onto my 3rd set of 4) and seeing if anything works.

I haven't tried the game myself, but I have some severe doubts about this game being the shit.
Crysis while being a technically impressive game fell extremely short in game-content, game-length (6-8 hours) and as always ended up in some stupid fad where all games nowdays have to end up in cliffhangers and promise a game triology as a result of that.

While I have no doubts that this game will pretty much be an updated version of the CryENGINE2 it also brings the unevitable question - will any computer within any reasonable price range be able to play the bastard without stuttering problems, slowdowns and severe preformance problems even with a $500 Videocard? The answer is most likely obvious.

And to think that people are actually giving S.t.a.l.k.e.r: Clear Sky a hard time for being buggy...

Crysis in itself is not a bad game. Problem is that it's just Far Cry, with two-thirds of the content stripped, two-thirds of the game-length taken away and an updated graphics engine.

I have the DVD copy.

Ok I tried Cry Wars, and that's pretty good. I put it on lowest settings and it actually looked better than medium settings on Crysis AND better FPS it felt like. There also a bunch of little tweaks in the MP and so far they look good. Like arcade style numbers telling you when you killed someone how many points you got or when you cap a point. The UI also looks better and the gameplay was better, probably because of less lag.

Nomad wasn't mute. We didn't see his face, but he wasn't mute.
