Warbears Adventures : An A.R. X-Mas

Ah, good. My employer has finally passed out in a heap. No more alcohol for him for a while, I say! Anyway...

First off, please note that I LOVE THE WARBEARS OH MY THE RAVEN QUEEN I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! Secondly, that there are really only 2 of the 4 Warbears featured in this game, Kla and Steve. Ryoh (OH MY THE RAVEN QUEEN I LOVE YOU RYOH MOST OF ALL XOXOXOXOXO!) and Lucas aren't actually shown until the very end. Oh well.

Anyway, Warbears Adventures : An A.R. X-Mas is a game by Ioji (Gionatan Iasio). It is a Christmas special spin-off of the canon Warbears series. If you haven't played any of the other Warbears games before, you need to do so. Now. Do it. Here's a link: http://www.kongregate.com/games/ioji/warbears

Going on, the story is starts with Kla going shopping for some Christmas decorum with Steve. Kla gets a present from DarkCore Corp (and, wait for it), which is a pair of A.R. (Alternate Reality) glasses. However, a Christmas prank from Steve short-circuits the glasses and causes Kla to go crazy (and BOOM goes the dynamite!). With Kla's brain "fried" and having his vision tell of a mix of the real world and a Christmas-themed Internet server, Steve now has to fix his mess. Which is a bit of a problem, since Kla can now also shoot electric beams out of his eyeballs.

So, we play the game half of the time controlling Kla as he tries to save the Internet from a Santa virus thingy...& half of the time controlling Steve as he attempts to bring Kla back to sanity. You control the game entirely by mouse, just like playing a canon Warbears game. So, yes, it is a point-&-click adventure game. What do you want, a cookie? Mmm...Christmas cookies...

Where was I? Oh right. I do have to say that, like most good point-&-click games, this is terribly short. Boo hoo. Oh, and WHY CAN'T YOU PLAY AS ALL FOUR WARBEARS?! WHY?! GAH!

Merry 4th day of Christmas.
