Anyone here a Lovecraftian?

If so what is your favorite outer god or great old one?

Also what is your favorite story?

My favorite Lovecraftian god would be Hastor. My favorite story is either Rats in the Walls or Herbert West Reanimator.

Have to go with the original.
The Mountains of Madness. Cant wait till Del Toro makes this.

That being said, Cthulhu is my favourite

Its a toss up between 'The Tomb' and 'In the Walls of Eryx'

I don't know if I have a favorite old one... they're all fun. XD

At the beginning. The Mountains of Madness first introduce us to the world Lovecraft created.

I like the Cthulhu mythology, but I've not read much of his stories, I've read parts of Mountains Of Madness and it seemed good, need to find it again.

I love the Cthulhu mythos. Big fan of it. I'd say The Hounds of Tindalos are my favorite creatures from the mythos. Gotta love 'em.

I have an anthology of his short stories, but Lovecraft was an absolutely appalling writer. Really awful. He had some great ideas, but I'm more of a Lovecraft critic than a fan.

My favourite is probably "The Rats In The Walls".

Meh, I'm not that big into anti-semites.
Howard Phillips Lovecraft was a man of his times, being born in 1890. It doesn't matter what he thought but his works were good and very influential in pop culture today.

Point taken, but that still doesn't make his cult of White Anglo-Saxon culture and ethnicity any less disturbing.

I've been meaning to pick up some H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King books so I can get into horror.

There are so many genres of literature I haven't explored yet. I'm still yet to look at science fiction in depth.
