Cursed games

This is an unusual one but does anyone else have a game they simpley cant play because something
bad will happen shortly afterwards.

For me the original dungeon seige seems to have a negitive effect on things, for example half way through the first part of the story i was rang by a friend only to be told another friend had just been in a car accident. The second attempt to play through the game resulted in a bricked hard drive, which had alot of collage project work on it .
Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this or do I just have terrible luck .

when I first got to the second last boss on Castle Of illusion for the megadrive, it was late at night and I was alone downstairs. I was scared that something scary was going to happen at the end against the witch so I turned the game off

When I was four, I always stopped playing Sonic The Hedgehog whenever I reached the Labyrinth Zone...I really didn't like the drowning music on that at all

Fatal Frame. Just reading the front of the box saying, "Based on a true story" kinda spooks me.

All Relic strategy games. I never seem to be able to finish the Campaign or do Multiplayer...
