That's why you pace yourself and play a game thoroughly and get used to it's mechanics.

((Also take your time here with your posts don't think you'll be popular by making 50 threads within an hour))

I suggest forgetting about achievements. It can be hard if you are the "perfectionist" type who likes to have them all collected to make things look all nice and neat (like myself) but eventually you will find one you cannot or lack the patience to do and then realise how much of a waste they are.

Or you can be like my friend and only get games with easy achievements... *sighs*

Anyway, just get the games that you really like the look of as opposed to getting every single one that comes out. That will help.

you have to narrow your focus

i cant play for hours on end anymore because i have school. you must ajust your gaming to fit your lifestyle. unfortunatley its not the other way around

you obviously have alot of favorites you may want to stick to only the best of your favorites.

as for acheivements i think that they provide too much positive reinforcement that hightens extrinsic rewards and ends up lessening the intrinsic pleasure you get from compleating a game. before it was yay i beat a game now one doesnt even care about the game but focuses more on the reinforcers. maby try playing for the games sake and not the trophies.

aslo the game will be there when you get to it

i hope i was helpfull

It's called a business.

I have many many backlogged games, currently still trying to run through DOW2 on hardest difficulty and FF13 singleplayer... both are quite long and strenuous to say the least.

When october comes I think my head's going to explode...

I don't even want to think about the games I've backlogged. I still have shit from last year's steam sale (Most of it) backlogged, not to mention assorted ps3 and 360 games.

Honestly, with as little time as I have to game these days, I'll probably never be wanting for something to play. Ever. Again.

edit

also, gamm gamm gamm gamm
