I just got Dantes Inferno for my 360. The game was incredibly fun, albeit a little repetitive. However there were some moments that to me were just "wow, really?" moments in the game. Anyone who has played it will know what I'm talking about. So I ask you, do you think that Dante's Inferno went a little bit over the line occasionally? It added to the hell aesthetic nicely and I enjoyed this aspect of the game as well. I just wonder what you think.

Yes, but I'd say that was half the fun. I don't know the meaning of the words 'Tone it down'. Hell's been done to death; sometimes it needs a boost in craziness.

Yeah, they tried way too hard to beat the violence in God of War, but failed to beat the sheer brutality in GoW and provided cheap and laughable "shocks" just for the sake of it.

LOL Tygre your pics terrifying xD.

Okay, as someone who hasnt owned the game, i guess my opinions not very valid...
but the artwork i was for it was like o.o chillout haha. Except the design of Lucifer. He was...*facepalm* mmh.

Im wondering if the games worth getting cheap now, though?

Wait, are you talking about Lucifer's MASSIVE schlong that hangs to his knees, th lust girls, the gluttons... Yeah, it was over the top, but you didn't expect hell to be pretty did you?

One of my biggest pet peeves in movies and video games are these enemies that are trynig to conquer the world and the most profane thing they can mutter is "Oh drat"

This was a realistic look at hell and I loved it

I thought it stayed well below the line for the most part actually, and it was pretty boring.. My only concern was the lack of music.. Music would have been preferable to a constant symphony of screaming.

Oh it was a bit 'out there'. But my god was it fun. As sup par as it was, the gameplay was solid (even if the combat and controls were near enough lifted from God of War). The graphics were nice and the upgrade system was pretty balanced. I liked it, just pure and simple, fun.

i thought the imagery was good, it's hell after all, it should be a little unsettling or grotesque at the very least

This is game where a man sews a cross into himself, and then proceeds through the CIRCLES OF HELL in order to save his wife. I would be dissappointed if it didn't cross the line at every oppourtunity.

From what I heard, it was a bag of dicks subpar at best.
the last "level" before you fight Lucifer was one of the worst experiences I've had in gaming in a while. You could tell the developers either A: ran out of time, B: ran out of money, C: ran out of ideas or D: some combination of all 3.

I'm gonna go with A and B. While the game was a clear God of War clone, it had its moments where it was quite a bit of fun and exhibited some original ideas.
