He was run over last friday. I held him in my arms bleeding, barely moving all the way to the vets, he didn't moew once.
One of the sweetest cats I've ever known. He loved people, thought he was one. Liked to sleep next to me at night, give the family headbutts, follow me around at anytime of day or night, and do this soft little meow for food. He would even follow me down the road sometimes, eventually turning back when he realised I was going too far. I was on my laptop when I heard my mum screaming... It was the most unrealistic thing I ever could of dreamed of.
I saw him on the saturday at the vets, laying in his cage. His jaw was fractured and he wasn't moving his legs. I just talked to him liked I always did and rested my head near his. I held his paw and I felt him griping my fingers. He then just purred.
He died on the monday. His spinal cord was served in the accident and there wasn't anything we could do. I loved that cat more than anything, and he wasn't just a cat; he was a brother and a friend.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss - I'm a cat lover too, so I understand what your bond must have been like.

This reminds me of the Ugly story, it's just as sad realy. But all I can do is say how sorry I am that such a kind a beautiful creator as the one you described is no longer with us.

I am truly sorry. While I have never owned pets, I understand the pain it can bring for one to pass on.

Its hard when you form such a close bond... makes you feel you never want to see another cat... because nothing will ever replace the one you lost... and none ever will.. its that simple..

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. I've lost a few in my life, but they disappeared. I never really had to witness their last living moments, or see them in such pain. We can only assume that with an companion as loving as you, your cat lived a good life. It must be extremely painful, though, especially since it was a car accident. It must be hard not to blame the driver, even if it was just an accident.

My goodness. I've never owned a pet in my life, so I can't say that I know what it's like, but... I'm so very sorry. You have my deepest condolences.

Wow, that sucks. Rest assured though, if you loved him as much as your post suggests then he must have had a wonderful life while it lasted.

Wow sry to hear that man. Most of the times this late at night I'm really hyped up on energy drinks so I would give a Halo refrence Like "Congratz you just earned a killjoy medal" or something but I would never use it on a person who lost a friend or family members (this includes pets).
