Daria the Cartoon Network Series

Hey guys it's been awhile. I've come here hoping that you guys can solve my problem and maintain my sanity.

My girlfriend recently told me that I said I loved the show Daria when I saw her wearing a Daria shirt. I couldn't remember the event, her shirt, or the show for the life of me. Upon googling the show I found that the main character looked deathly familiar. I watched an episode, but nothing rang a bell. I think the main character of the show may look similar to another character and that's why I said I liked it. There is also always the possibility that my girlfriend was mistaken and I'm not completely losing my mind.

She started out as a nerdy monotone character on Beavis and Butthead and then eventually got her own show. And it was MTV not Cartoon Network.

I used to love that show. Then it stopped being played and i forgot about it until today. Now i'm going to have to track down some episodes to watch

OK, that's just a mental coincidence. I was talking about this show with somebody last night and we watched a couple of episodes on Youtube and agreed that Trent and Jane were pretty much caricatures of us.

Yep, I remember that show. At the time, I was too young to really get it, therefore I hated it. Upon watching it now though, it's probably actually a better show than Beavis & Butthead, the show which she was originally a side character on. Neither are really my favorite though.

And she got her own show. And never brought up Beavis and Butthead. Which I thought was weird, I mean come on. You don't grow up in the same town as Beavis and Butthead and not have some stories to tell.
