Daria the Cartoon Network Series

Hey guys it's been awhile. I've come here hoping that you guys can solve my problem and maintain my sanity.

My girlfriend recently told me that I said I loved the show Daria when I saw her wearing a Daria shirt. I couldn't remember the event, her shirt, or the show for the life of me. Upon googling the show I found that the main character looked deathly familiar. I watched an episode, but nothing rang a bell. I think the main character of the show may look similar to another character and that's why I said I liked it. There is also always the possibility that my girlfriend was mistaken and I'm not completely losing my mind.

Loved that show as a kid. It made me feel counter-culture hip n' cool. But now its just ironically awesome. It wasn't on CT though, it was on MTV.

I can't imagine what other show you might have been mixing Daria up with. I suppose she looks a little like Peggy Hill from King of the Hill. Maybe Beavis and Butthead? I think there may have been some cross-over and the shows were both on MTV.
