With the release of the new dashboard update to the public, I was wondering what you guys (and gals) thought of it. For instance, any clothes you want to buy?
I don't party up a lot so I'm a little ignorant. What is broken about the party system?Reuq said:Microsoft are so bad, they sell virtual clothing as a priority over fixing the broken party system? c'mon guys, not all of us care what our pet mii rip off looks like!
Nobody is bitching about the items, they are bitching about the price or the fact that MS have spent time making something useless while they are still actual issues to be solved with the console. There's a huge difference.apsham said:I love how people ***** about something that they AREN'T FORCED TO BUY.
Ideally yes, but there are morons world-wide who don't get this and give MS enough money for them to keep doing it.poncho14 said:If no one buys I expect them to lower the price...hopefully.
That actually really pissed me off. The clone armor is probably the best outfit to get, but it cost 400 points and the helmet is not even included. Its a fucking rip-off.Doc Theta Sigma said:I'd like the Republic Trooper armour but there's no way I'm gonna spend 400 MS points on it. But there is also a helmet which is another 240 MS points. Damn you Microsoft... I want that stuff for a lower price. 300 points for the whole thing seems more than fair but oh well, they're a company. Their purpose is to make money.
Yeah I know but there's nothing we can do about it really. If I had the surplus points I'd buy it cause I don't use them for anything except DLC.Armored Prayer said:That actually really pissed me off. One of my friends bought the lightsaber (400 MS), the clone outfit (another 400), and the Big Daddy helmet (160, I think). That's almost 1000 MS points in about 5 minutes. Sometimes, I wish I shat MS points too.Machines Are Us said:Yes, a lot of them, but they are a fucking rip-off and no way in hell am I paying that much.
A smaller item such as a beanie, doll, lightsaber or whatever costs between 80-400 MS points.
A hat such as a Big Daddy helmet (Bioshock) or COG helmet (Gears of War) costs 240 MS points.
Outfits such as COG armour, A Splinter Cell outfit, a Jedi outfit and Halo UNSC armour costs 240-400 MS points.
500 MS points equals about £4.25/$7. As you can only buy MS points in chunks of 500/1000/1500/2000 (On Live) or 1600/2100/2400 (In shops) you will have to pay more than you want as well as things never total up in 50s/100s.
It's a joke. I wouldn't pay more than 200 MS points for a complete outfit, even then I doubt I'd waste the points unless they were spare.
Probably not, but if so I'll be the first to purchase one =Dmiracleofsound said:Fuck spending money to buy virtual clothes.
Fuck it right in its ear.
