So we got one of the best humble bundles "of all time!" come up a week or so ago, boasting:
Superbrothers S&S, Limbo, Amnesia, Psychonauts and Bastion.

I just got an email announcing these additions to the current humble bundle:
Braid, Lone Survivor and Super Meat Boy.

This bundle is worth the price for any one of these games, and I don't know that many people that don't have at least a few of them. However if you don't have a large number of these games, I can't stress enough how much of a deal this is right now, some of the best indie releases ever all for about $10 (if you want to be stingy with the price you set that is).

I think PC gamers should support stuff like this, I'm actually blown away that they'd add these games to an already amazing bundle...

I just joined the PC master race when Diablo 3 released and I haven't played any of these games

Bastion looks intresting I dunno about the rest, I might consider buying them but I'll need to see if any of them are controller compatible, since my PC area is not the most comfortable right now :( everytime I play Diable after 2 hours my back is in so much pain I can't do anytihng the rest of the day

Really really nice. I never got around to get Amnesia, Psychonauts or Bastion (I know, I know). Oh, and getting the Bastion soundtrack too ? I mean, yeah, that's amazing.

I may well get this just for Bastion and Lone Survivor, they were both on my to play list. It's easily the best indie bundle there's been!

I played Phychonaughts and Limbo already and loved them. My laptop can't run Amnesia because of the integrated video card (this fills me with sadness every time Ithin about it). It seems like it's worth it for the rest of them.

Welcome to the better *cough* I mean PC side.

Bastion was designed with controller in mind, as was super meat boy.
(I'm assuming the majority of the others can have a controller used on them.)

The price of this entire bundle is worth it for JUST Bastion, I can't stress enough how good a deal this is, especially since you don't own any of them, and spending about $10-20 can give you some of the best indie games released in the last few years. Since you don't have much experience of many indie games I guess you don't know how fucking surprisingly amazing some of them can be. A lot of the time they're so much better than AAA titles (some of them are bound to be since there's so many indie games made every month).

Bastion is probably one of, if not the best single player story I have ever played through, and is so unique for an action RPG.

Super Meat Boy is an extremely fun-strating platformer that makes you want to keep throwing yourself at death.

Limbo and Psychonauts are both critically acclaimed (have yet to play through them so far).

Amnesia is... terrifying (does its job just fine).

Not sure on S&S and Lone Survivor, but more games cant hurt right?

Seriously, just do yourself the favour now because you're going to be wanting to buy these games in the future for $10 each when you realize how worth it these games are :p I know I'm being a bit overzealous here but humble really do deserve all the hits they are getting right now, you'd never see anything like this on other platforms.

Just a question, if you already bought the bundle, do you get the additions by simply going to your download link, or do you have to do another transaction?

Edit: Oh so I got the mail now too, that answered it. Ignore.

I owned all of the games (except for S&S, which I haven't tried yet) but I still bought it for 30? to support the developers. Besides, I get to give the games to a friend that haven't played them yet - awesome.

As said, every single game in this bundle is worth the average if not more and if you haven't tried it yet, you should now. Even if all you can spare is 1$, it's better than pirating them.

I had most of them yet still donated quite a bit over the average too, if we want to see the PC platform be full of generous devs who know what good games are, and not go the way of the console market, we should support anything like this as much as possible.

Although with your second point, sometimes it's not very good for you to donate very low amounts because it can cause them to lose a lot of money on those transactions, I think how it works is humble pay the devs a minimum with each purchase, and so $1 purchases mean humble makes a loss on those (I think humble aims to break even/make a slight profit?), I'd say you can't go wrong with the average price (since you get all the amazing extra games) or something like, $10-20, because you know you're helping their cause as opposed to taking advantage of their very generous and charitable offer. Not saying that anybody would want that to happen, but somebody could be not knowingly causing humble a few problems.

You'll still be getting about 1 game per $2 after all, and these games could last you for months.

Also, why do windows users always make themselves look so damn stingy? :(

If they all upped their donations by $1 they'd be at about 4 million (like $398000) by now.

I already own all of these games.

If my summer job hadn't fallen through on me, I would have picked them up again anyway, and just given them as gifts or traded them at a later date.

It did blow me away! I know these games are incredible! Though, Limbo is the only one I've actually played (and own). I am especially pumped for Psychonaughts! But, is that even Indie? I wouldn't think so, seeing as it was brought out by a major publisher and all. Psychonaughts 2 might be Indie, though, considering it's going with Notch and all. Notch! Why don't you have Minecraft on Steam!?

And Super Meat Boy as extra!? Do so want! Braid? Meh... I'll take Mario Paint or Super Scribblenaughts for my "artsy" game...

I owned all the game except Swords and Sorcery and was thinking of just buying it anyway to support them

Now I own of the games except Swords and Sorcery and Lone Survivor and I'm definitely buying it anyway to support them

Psychonauts is possibly one of the best platformers ever made... it's really good and witty if you are into Schaffers sense of humour.

Bastion is just a novel experience. Worth playing just to experience the way the story is told.

Limbo is another game that has to be experienced. Not much replayability here, but it's a gem none the less.

Braid is highly praised, but it's not the pinnacle of indie as it has been touted, other titles have matched it and surpassed it. Still worth trying though.

Are you weak of heart or easily frightened? Amnesia could possibly be the worst experience for you if so, but all for the right reasons.

I haven't played the rest. But considering how awesome the other titles are, it's worth an investment.

Windows users are also the largest contributors. They may have the lowest average, but they've paid a lot more overall. The average payment number is being diluted by the vastly larger user-base.

OT: I have already beaten Limbo, Braid, Amnesia, and Bastion and have gotten tired of the ball-busting difficulty of Super Meat Boy, but it's certainly a pretty sweet deal.

I saw this on the Humble Bundle Facebook page the first day it was out. I immediately dropped $8 on it even though I already had Amnesia and Psychonauts. I've gotten this and the Android bundle and never regretted it. I didn't even know there were more games added to the bundle until now. I would have bought Limbo or Bastion alone for that price.

Just bought this about an hour ago. My computer's not exactly super good, so I can't run a few of them (especially Psychonauts :c), but it's still a really nice addition to my library nonetheless.

Considering you can, at the moment, get eight amazing games for about a dollar each... totally worth it. And you get the soundtracks, too!

God, this bundle is great.

Simple. They spent all that money buying their OS, Linux users give more because they don't have to pay for their OS and Apple users are just rich enough to afford those over priced computers computers.

If you're not sure about Psychonauts, just ask yourself; Did I enjoy Invader Zim? The answer is yes.

I know Bastion has controller support.

Since Braid, Super Meat Boy, and Limbo, are on the 360 as well I would think they would have controller support.

Not sure about the others. Pretty sure Psychonauts does though.

For what it's worth, the minimum price is more than worth it. Seriously, I can't recommend this bundle enough.
