With the Day z im playing... i needed both ARMA 2 & The expansion on steam for £25 total... hope that helps : /

Not sure about the graphics to be honest there nothing special but the graphics are not what makes day Z fun, you need some bros and you need the interactive map to help find eachother.

Day Z is a full on cut throat enviroment if you last more than 30 minutes first try your doing well :p if you find a weapon by the 4th try your doing well x)

Haven't tried it myself (so burnt out on zombies, personally) but from what I've seen the game just generally looks pretty terrible. As with most PC titles, I'm sure there are probably back end things you can do to make it look better, but the graphics are definitely not thr draw when it comes to Day Z.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking due to the fact that I cannot really understand what I am thinking is your first sentence.

The graphics in DayZ will be the same as ArmA II. ArmA II actually has very nice graphics. The problem is that it requires a LOT of processing power in both the GPU and CPU in order to render the gameworld to any degree of beauty.

I would recommend playing with the settings until you find a happy medium for your system. I have it set for a balance between graphics and performance. Start with low settings, run a benchmark, and then ramp them up a little until you get the look and performance you want.

Some tips for adjusting the visual settings in ArmA II:

Post Process Effects: Low or Very Low
Video Memory: Default
3D Resolution: Same as interface resolution

These settings are a good starting point. The Post process (motion blur) is a bit exaggerated in ArmA II, so most will recommend that you turn it either down or off. The 3D resolution will KILL your performance if it is not set to the same as your interface resolution unless you have one HELL of a system.

The video memory setting is the wild card. Some claim different settings worked better or worse for them. Just try until you find the winning combination.
