DCUO goes f2p next month

this has probably been stated several times if you haven't heard about it until now , your welcome . I look forward to this , because I'm fed up with CO and I look at COX and feel that looks more of the same. Even though I had fun in CO I did alot of RP in CO too and look forward to better days in DCUO. Alot people do feel CO is still better but it does have about as many bugs and issues as the DCUO and COX , but I just like the look and atmosphere alot better and feel it might blend better with my darker/mature themed RP.

So please feel free to discuss , about what this means I do have the best of luck to this new route for DCUO and hope that all of these superpowered MMOs the best of luck.

I haven't touched CoX but Its just a preference of mine , anything touched by Cryptic/paragons hands I'm probably going to avoid , not that I don't like it its just the RP for my characters in those settings end rather badly (Even though I've heard positive things about Mature RP in CoX I'd Rather give DCUO a shot). But CO when they do darker themes like Vibora Bay and now aftershock it makes me die a little inside , but please don't go into a debate or Say that X is better that Y its all a matter of taste really. I look a Gotham though and see that a lot of dark RP can happen there , just because of Gothams nature , Metropolis looks like a regular Millennium City if you ask me.

Well this thread is off to a good start....

OT: For some strange reason I still have a bunch of copies of DCUO on PC at work and they are still $40 (though I was trying to sell them for $20 last month to no avail.) Yesterday I actually had a customer asking about it though but I told them to hold off till it goes F2P. Still, I would love to know why the PS3 version was recalled, but not the PC.

As for when it goes F2P, I might give it another shot. But more likely it will just get added to the endless list of games I don't have time to get to...

I found it a great game, but I also find that the free to play section, and the wow fanboys converting the game caused it to be less enjoyable.
Apart from that if they had stayed on track and became Marvel like it was meant it, it would have been amazing.
