So, with the release of Ninja Gaiden 3 next week, some of us are going to have access to the DoA5 demo/beta. Though I personally won't be getting NG3 due to lack of funds (even though I really, really want access to that demo/beta), I am excited to see what I think is one of the best (if not the best) fighting games getting another installment finally.

The trailer, though it takes place on the same level as the other trailers, is still pretty cool and shows off show things we hadn't seen about the game so far, like characters appearing to get dirty and bruised during fights.

The only thing I notice that I didn't like was that the female character's......assets seem to be significantly reduced from previous games - in particular Ayane in this trailer. What the hell TN? Don't tell me you're getting on the "Big Boobs Are Bad" bandwagon now too? Namco already jumped ship, as did the new Tomb Raider game.

I guess Ayane had finally had enough of her boob getting in the way of her fighting so she had a breast reduction. I do agree though that the reduction is somewhat noticable but hey it's still a good game without the boobs right?

Well, they're still pretty big and there's definitely still jiggle physics in place. Doesn't seem that much different to me, really.

But if you really object to lowered breast sizes, there's always Soul Calibur 5 to fall back on.

Almost normally dressed, breasts smaller then heads... why is this even called DoA :p
But seriously it is another fighting game and with that as interesting as celery, well with the boob cuts it's even less then that.

Don't know about anyone else, but that pre-play screenshot was creeeeeepy...

*meh* Not really bothered, the DoA series never... grabbed me much... ¬_¬ Though I was a little surprised at the almost normal/human boobage, so much less 'in-your-face' than previous incarnations...

Oh, lol.
Shush your mush.
Are you seriously complaining that there isn't enough fan service aimed at dudes in the gaming industry?

DoA never knocked my socks off as a fighting game, but if they've realised women aren't made of water-balloons then I will have to congratulate them. EDIT: Well, at least cut DOWN on the water- balloons.

Captcha: It happens.
Yup.

Except SC5 already jumped ship too.

Ivy got "nerfed", they replaced Taki with a teenaged American girl trying to pass off as Taki (though if online is any indication, Natsu is way more broken than Taki ever thought of being), etc. They only one close to the original cast is Elyisum, but she is just an Edge Master clone, and she really doesn't make up for it.

Holy crap, a Team Ninja game with naturally sized breasts. What is the world coming to?

Actually looking forward to this game I didnt really enjoy DoA 4 but 3 was ok and 2 was great for the time I think its about time they brought it out of retirement (although I am glad they gave it a rest) there is loads of technical 2d fighters out at the moment we need more fun 3d ones like SC and DoA.

After Persona 4 Ultimate in Mayonaka arena DoA5 is probably my 2nd most looked forward to game of the year atm while I am not to bothered by Ninja Gaiden 3 as it wasnt long ago I played Ninja Gaiden 2 sigma.

Also I am glad Ayane is back as she is usually my main with Bayman as my alt (or Gen Fu).

I just hope they dont put a stupid last boss in like that silver kasumi (alpha something or other) that thing along with seth in SFIV really ruined my enjoyment of those games, Tengu was a fun final boss though.

boobs need to be the appropriate size for the character and i imagine its hard to go into combat with breast's large enough to be used as lethal weapons
and in terms of eye candy your in the internet just turn safe search off and its the land of opportunity, tittys belong on google images not in fighting games

Hmmm. There is still an almost hypnotic jiggle physics engine there. I mean, they just seem to sway there slightly for a little too long. And it was not at all hard to notice.

Eh....I prefer my service to be done by professionals.

And besides, taking away the fan service from DoA would be like away the Dragons from from Skyrim - sure it could work and be fun, but it forms a fairly core and important of the game(s).

I think the game looks pretty good, I was always a bit wierded out by how large the womens' breasts were in the older games. Having them be a bit more proportional is a good thing I think.

Though I do want to know what they did to Hitomi's face, she looks like a completely different person.
