Dead or Alive gets a new Guest Star; An Old Rival at That

Now the ladies of Dead or Alive can finally settle the score with their oldest rival tit-to-tit chest-to-chest boob against boob in a contest of udder skill fist-to-fist.

While no definite release date has been announced, Mai is officially coming to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round in the near future. Mai will be joining the rest of the guest character cast in DoA 5, which includes now;

Jackye - Virtua Fighter
Pai - Virtua Fighter
Akira - Virtua Fighter
Sarah - Virtua Fighter
Naotora Li - Samurai Warriors

One of the best crossover characters ever imo and the best Mai has ever looked. She is my favourite SNK character and I like DOA5 so I was pretty happy about this announcement. I would have preferred Tifa but we cant have everything and honestly I think Mai should fit very well into the game.

I believe the planned release is late August early September but I cannot remember where I saw that so its quite possibly wrong and honestly I am to lazy to try and find where I read that.

You also missed off Sarah Bryant as a guest character from VF.

I usually despise guest characters but for some reason I like what they have done with DOA5 (less said about DOA4s guest and game in general the better). I want to see how Mai actually plays in game I have only played her in 3D in maximum impact 2 where if memory serves right she was pretty ridiculous if not outright broken but maybe they will do more what Tekken has apparently done with Akuma and make her play more to her 2D roots. In any case I hope she will be fun and well integrated and balanced to the DOA engine.

I also hope we get her secondary outfit as personally I like that one more than her default and since DOA has always had lot of costumes I see no reason not to include it.

The new stage and attack on titan costumes look pretty neat as well also loved the fairy tail costumes they did easily their best one in a long time (didnt get it tho).

Also looking forward to KOFXIV soon as well.

Yes, I'm that bitter and petty about my booby fighting games.

Naotora Li isn't overpowered; hell, none of the additional/DLC characters are generally considered very competitive except for sometimes Marie-Rose and Momiji.

But, yay, the character that basically pioneered the boob bounce gets some love by the game that seems to specialize in it. Not the only game that does, but it was basically the first specialized boob bouncer.

Not a huge fan of her face design though. Might just be me, though.
