Dead Space 2- Worth The Money?

Hey fellow Escapists,

Dead Space 2 sounds interesting to me, I've played the first one and enjoyed it but after I completed it there was little to no replay value. I know I'll purchase this game eventually.

So my question to you lovely people is this, is Dead Space 2 worth the money? Or should I perhaps wait a while for the price to go down or rent it?

Yes -It's everything I want in a shooter:

Solid mechanics and frame rate, perfectly tuned controls, eye-popping set-pieces, excellent atmosphere and scary bits and absolutely stunning graphics.

Dead space 2 is a fantastic very well done game, theyve taken the first game which was also very well done and improved on everything, built upon it.

I really cant fault the game, the monsters are varied and interesting (there's a lot more than 4 or 5 different types), the place is scary and creepy and it only gets creepier as you progress through the game, the story is actually pretty damn good and lastly all the little things like the blue line you can bring up that tells you where to go is awesome. Who likes wandering around lost? Nobody, thats no fun.

i've heard such praise for it, but i played the demo and just did not enjoy it. maybe i'm in the minority, but i'm passing for better games coming out soon
