Imagine two similar characters from different fictions (for example, High King Peter Pevensie vs. Aragorn, or Gandalf vs. Dumbledore) meet and fight. Anything goes: manga, anime, movies, comic books, games, etc.

Who wins? You can post how the fight goes if you wish.

The rules:
_ One of the characters must die. If it is larger than a 1v1, all but one of the characters must die. No "they ally to fight crime" endings.
_ The match has to be even. No Godzilla vs. Hello Kitty stuff.
_ The match has to be original. Superman vs. Batman is starting to get old.

That said it has been the first in a while, I thought we'd completely exterminated them all, notice the way it disguises itself as a potentially valid topic. They are adapting.

That said (guilty pleasure) I would like to see Batman fight the Comedian, both prepared for the fight.

Honestly can't tell who'd win, probably 7:3 Batman:Comedian, however whenever Batman wins it's by disabling Comedian's guns and a grueling fist fight, where he gets kicked in the groin and manages to knock the Comedian out, having him arrested where buddies of his in government get him released.

When Comedian wins, he shoots a metric shit load of bullets at and into batman before kicking him in the balls and flamethrowering him to death.

Some it depends on if Batman's feeling lucky.

Psycho Vs Alyx Vance, I think that'd be good, complete ex-SAS nutjob against a very intelligent young woman born in battle, also Psycho did sort of OUTLIVE AN ALIEN INVASION. and Alyx Vance also did sort of OUTLIVE AN ALIEN INVASION. Both of which invasions seemed sort of simularly as HL's invasion didn't have reinforcements (combine one this is)and were incredibly advanced, but Psycho's although Psycho is probably the under dog he's been through more with much more agile aliens, Combine are pretty good sharp shooters though, so HUMMMMMMMMM. I dunno, I think they're both equally experienced, as Shephard killed the biggest thing on Earth in OpFor, only to be replaced by the biggest mothafucka I've ever seen in Crysis Crysis, although killed by Nomad, Psycho helped
