I've heard of Deadpool movie, but I never read the latest news.

I can only hope that he isn't anything like the Deadpool from Wolverine: origins (movie) there are no words to describe just how disappointed i was by that particular incarnation of him.

I can't wait for the film, and I agree that I don't want him to be like his incarnation in Wolverine Origins. I didn't mind him at the start but the end was terrible. However since Ryan Reynolds is playing the part again I fear that this might be the way they're going.

I'd like to see him as close to Daniel Way's Deadpool as possible, that's always been my favourite (but then it could just be sentimentality on my part because they're the first Deadpool comic books I read)

I would like to state for future reference that the "Deadpool" in Wolverine would not be recycled in any way at all for the Deadpool movie.

Reynolds emphasized that he, Donner, and 20th Century Fox are working to ensure that Deadpool remains loyal as possible to the comic-book: "The studio's working on a script and trying to find a director," the actor explained in July 2009. "The main goal is to make sure it stays close to the source material." Donner met with Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld to discuss the planned direction of the film in September 2009. Donner stated that she wants the film to "ignore the version of Deadpool that we saw in Wolverine and just start over again. Reboot it. Because this guy talks, obviously, and to muzzle him would be insane."

They better go all out. I want it to be an 18, be violent as hell and be full of jokes, pop culture references/parody and breaking the fourth wall.
