...I'm wondering if this is the stupidest thing I've seen today or the greatest.(And I'm watching the Dark Knight right now.)

Might be fun. At the very least, we know it doesn't take itself serious. Would be a welcome breather from all the grim grittiness.

Also, and this is gonna sound petty, but his voice kinda bothers me.

The comics always mentioned Deadpool having a distinctive "gravel and gasoline" voice. I always imagined him sounding sort of like Solid Snake, so if David Hayter really isn't going to voice Snake anymore and is available ... yeah ... Snakepool.

Man, it's hard to not get hyped about a Deadpool game...

Let's just hope it doesn't blow gameplay wise.
All they have to do is make it Devil May Cry/Metal Gear Rising-esque and it would work perfectly.

At least Nolan North doesn't sound exactly like Nathan Drake again.

And if the entire game has the same amount of personality that trailer had, it'll probably be a huge blast to play.

Since the first trailer I've had mixed feeling about a Deadpool game.

Hopefully it's not shit. Even if it isn't it'll probably be Steam sale (it's on PC, right?) or just price drop shopping.

From what I've heard, they're going for a Devil May Cry/Batman: Arkham Asylum style for gameplay. Still not necessarily a bad thing!

I know what you mean, It's actually quite a big deal since he's 'the merc with a mouth' so he needs to sound right for a lot of his lines to work, but he just... doesn't.

That said I did enjoy Cable turning up in it, I'd like to think that shows that the designers have done their research and this will have a proper crazy 'Deadpool' feel. It has to be said that the textures and models still look like ass.

This had better be good! I am looking forward to this, if they pull a A:CM on me, I'm going to gut a comic and burn it on a dark altar of hate for Marvel for licensing it. But it looks good, so hey.

Oh god that ending! That nearly woke up half the house.

The saddest part about is:

"Platform: PS3/X360"

Yeah, gonna pass on that one.
Wait, there was an ERSB(Or whatever it's called) screenshot of the game on these forums, PC was listed in the platforms.

I love the idea of a Deadpool game, but this is the version of Deadpool I'm not really that fond of. He's too over the top. I loved him in Cable & Deadpool when he was actually more than just a joke character and had some depth to him. The voices in his head was also another addition I wasn't fond of.

As someone who doesn't read comics, I think I kinda missed the joke here.

Is the character actually like that? Sort of Joker meets Spiderman permanently straddling the fourth wall?

I'd say you actually pretty much nailed it at first diagnose, at least as far as the personality goes

He essentially knows he's a comic book character, but he's also batshit crazy, so everyone just assumes it's his psychosis :D
