Deaf or Blind?

You're at a party with some friends, when a neighbour has called the police due to loud music and lots of noise. Having misunderstood the situation, the police dispatches a S.W.A.T. team to deal with the situation. (Just bear with me!)

As they breach and enter the door to your friends' apartment, with a flashbang, you are standing very close and you lose one of you senses. Either your eardrums are so ruptured that they are irrepairable, or your retinas are burnt beyond recognition.

EDIT: Of course this implies that you will have to live the remainder of your life without the lost sense. No transplants or operations can save you. So no cheats!

Now: Which of your senses would you rather lose? Your hearing, or your sight?

Same as Aby i'd have to say, my vision sucks, and I like being able to see without my eyes (). I'm a mysterious dude and i'd freakin love to come to school one day with a black scarf around my eyes and wearing a robe.

Sight. As much as I love games, I love music more. The world wouldn't be worth living in if I couldn't hear its OST.

Indeed you can. No hearing transplants are available unless you have a specific part of the ear that is damaged or nonworking.

Hearing, I would never enjoy films again otherwise even with audio description but's no substitute. I'd have to learn to lip read as well but imaigne never seeing another hot girl again.
