Last Friday night, I saw Death Cab for Cutie play live. I honestly really love their music, and I was wondering what all you wonderful people think about them.

I'm not a huge Death Cab fan, but the frontman Ben Gibbard is awesome when he goes solo on the acoustic guitar. There are some great free live shows out there that feature him, so you should definitely check the out, Block.

What's your opinion?

You saw them live. I am envious.

I must say though, I far prefer Ben Gibbard's acoustic work and his work with The Postal Service than his main project. That's not to say I dislike Death Cab for Cutie, but his voice is suited to softer music than their occasionally distorted guitars lend to.

I don't have sound here, so I can't listen to the song. I would like to know however the reason why you think an "XD" is suitable for the occasion. What do you think is so special about these two letters, which cannot be conveyed by the use of words?

I actually had tickets to see them in november last year. i gave them away for a stupid reason, should of gone to see them. They're not going to be back in UK for ages

I really don't like this band at all... I think that they're torture.
