Incredible in the sense of "I can't believe it's this good" or incredible in the sense of "I can't believe they went there". If it's the former, what does it make it so much better than the past seasons?

its good, not incredible. Easily the best season for a decade, and their quick production time means they can do very topical stuff, like school shootings and vaping and Red Dead Redemption, but it still feels tame. Like they did a whole school shooting episode but none of the 4th graders were killed, so it doesn't have the impact it should.

Did they kill Kenny?

its good, not incredible. Did they kill Kenny?

Nope. They phased out killing Kenny in every episode almost a decade ago. Also its now canon that he dies and comes back, he's aware of it, and no one else is. Something about being conceived on an altar of Cthulhu and being granted a measure of the Old One's powers.

Pretty sure they could have Duke Nuke 'Em production times and school shootings would still be topical in the US.
