Deleting threads

I had a question about a game, but I worked out what I had to do, so now this is in the wrong topic, thats because this was originally a game question, so my question is, how do you delete threads?

Ask the mods. Nicely.

Send a message to a mod that politely asks them to eat your thread.

Or let it sink to the bottom of the list and forget about it when everyone stops commenting on it.

just do what I do and make a thread that isn't popular, it'll quickly die of its own accord.

Or you could ask the mods nicely.
