Depressing skittles

Am I the only person who thinks that skittles commercials seem counter productive? When I see the commercials about a man who can't hold his child or a guy who can't go to school because of a tree is growing out of him it makes me feel bad that we get skittles from their sufferinfg.Mind you I like skittles but either way they just seem depressing, does anyone else feel like the skittles commercials are depressing?

I find the tree growing out of the boy to be the worst. And yeah the ads are a bit depressing, and I have no idea whats up with that.

At least that one is about two kids planning ahead, and making sure there's plenty of their favorite candy on their trick or treat route.
