Desperately looking for the right mouse

I'm having a bit of a fit here.

The mouse I've been using for almost 4 years has started falling apart. First was the scroll wheel, and it seems the sensor isn't exactly in peak condition anymore.

So I replaced it with an exact copy, but I couldn't get the computer to recognize the mouse no matter what I did.

So I finally broke down and bought the Corsair M65, seeing positive reviews. After waiting to get it, I realized I've grown very particular about how I grip the mouse. I need a pinky support on the right side, which the M65 certainly does not have.

So I've been spending the last few hours researching various mice and cannot come to a conclusion.

So far, I've looked at the:

R.A.T. 7 (people claim it has accuracy issues)
Razer Ouroboros (People claim it has accuracy issues, and doesn't seem to be fully comfortable, and highly priced)
Mionix NAOS 7000(Has no extra buttons, which I used frequently on my old mouse)

So if I could get some help here, I'd be very grateful.

My wishlist:
Thumb and pinky rests
High accuracy (from your experience)
Extra buttons (minimum of 7 total, preferably at least one on each side of the mouse)

In my experience, Razer products never last more than a year despite being quite expensive. The Ouroboros is pretty poorly reviewed, being described as "profoundly uncomfortable" with "flimsy, unsatisfying buttons".

Both the R.A.T. 7 and Mionix NAOS 7000 seem to have positive reviews. I would prefer the Mionix, but my opinion is mostly based on aesthetics.

Perhaps try to use the Corsair M65 for a month or so to see if you can adapt. You may get used to it and eventually not notice the lack of pinky support.

I had a Microsoft Sidewinder X5 for years but sadly it was clear it was dying and a replacement proved impossible to find.

So I did as you and bought a Corsair M65 and I love it. It's almost exactly the same height as the Sidewinder and fits my hand perfectly. I was particular about how I hold my mouse too but the M65 filled the gap bear perfectly. The only real issue I had was going to horizontal side buttons rather than vertical.

Give the M65 a try, it is a damn good mouse.

Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse [http://www.laptoprunner.com/best-laptop-mouse/] is the only Microsoft mouse with BlueTrack and a click motion wheel. The mouse is very responsive and has a good feel. Battery life should be good as well.

I had stopped purchasing Microsoft mice because all the new mice had smooth scrolling wheels. The wheel design is a weakness on Microsoft mice. Logitech has a much better wheel design both smooth and click motion. The click wheel is a little stiff on this mouse. If it loosens up after some use, this will be the best value small form factor wireless mouse available.

If you're looking into Mionix, Try the Naos 3200. My mother bought it for me as a gift, something like 5 years ago? Just now the middle mouse button and one of the thumb buttons are starting to become less responsive. I lived with cats, and MMB used to be my reload button.
