Deus Ex Glitch?

Hai, in my game of Deus Ex on the xbox i have that 'see through walls' perk but it doesn't work, i have full energy and it says i can activate it with my d-pad but i doesn't work.
Anyone else with the same problem?

When you press the corresponding button, does the HUD shimmer and change colour but not show anything? Or does it literally do nothing?

If the former, it's probably cause of the short range it actually has. If the latter, then that is a problem, yeah.

A real glitch is that the healing items, like painkillers or booze or the LIMB shot, instantly take you to full health plus the overheal they should give you if you were on full. That shouldn't happen. Makes it way too easy.

They should only be giving the amount they say, not healing to full plus it.

And as far as see through walls works, your wasting your points. Just look at the map, see through walls and any of the "Stealth" augments are virtually a waste if you can read the mini map right. Triangles tip is where the enemy is looking. If your against a wall and theres a triangle in your triangle that means theres someone right on the other side.

my mate has the xbox version and found he had the same problem but when he restarted his xbox the glitch was gone if u cant see them it may be becuase they are to far away, an easy way to test this is go to some one u can see and turn it on, if they turn slightly yellow and when u turn it off u can see yellow triangles disappearing then it is working

You can only see enemies/people through walls if they are close enough. The "through wall" vision does have a certain range on it.

Now, if the issue is that you aren't seeing people directly on the other side of a wall from you, then yes, you are experiencing a glitch.

Yeah the best way to figure this out it to turn the corner right after the gas station in detroit and flip it on. If you can see the people around the flaming barrel through the wall (should look like yellow ghosts) then your good. If not it is a glitch no question.

yeh i just restarted it and now it's working again. THank god, without it i was dying repeatedly.
