Looks like a pretty worthy sequel to HR. The one main thing I've seen so far that really bugs me to any significant degree is the continued jarring, cutscene-esque takedowns that sometimes seem to disorient the player. If they could at least make it a smooth transition instead of a camera cut, along with going in and out of cover, it would go a long way towards retaining immersion.

Holy shit the game comes out in a WEEK?! I thought it would be another 4 months or something.

I'm gonna have to check that my laptop can run this. I'm hoping so, but I kinda of doubt it a bit. :s

Or let you play the whole game in third or first person instead of this crappy middle ground. This game looks lazy for being five years after the last one. Not really happy about playing as the same main character either.
many people who played early copy on gaf are very impressed and think its better and much improved over HR in ever single way.

plus Adam jensen is excellent character. why not to play again?

1st person would be preferred. They of course did the 3rd person cover switch for accessibility's sake, but the better cover model is simply to assume mutual visibility between yourself and the enemy, barring some special augmentation.

I agree that the game doesn't seem as polished as it should be. Hell, the poly count on some npc's ears resemble N64 asset quality, and how hard is it to find decent voice acting talent these days?

But overall, as long as it plays well, and yields improved player choice and consequences, I'll probably have a blast with it. From what I've seen my biggest quips all have to do with presentation, which is secondary to everything else IMO.
