Are there any game developers you wish were still around today? For me I wish Atlus was still around more. What developer do you wish was still around?

Atlus is still around, it's just that they were absorbed into another company, otherwise I wouldn't be getting emails from them still...

Atlus is just very discreet with their games.

That I wish were still around? Not many. One that I wish I could annihilate? That's easy.

Free Radical.

I know they're still "technically" here since they were bought by Crytek and all staff was kept, but I want the independent Free Radical.

Why? Because they made Timesplitters, and were working on Timesplitters 4 and a proper Star Wars Battlefront 3.

2 new games in 2 of my favorite series... Oh what could have been...

989 Studios. They were the guys behind Jet Moto and Syphon Filter series. I loved those games.

I think for me it's have to be Rogue Entertainment. They made some of the best expansion packs for Quake and Quake 2, as well American McGee's Alice. I think most of those guys work at Nerve now, so it's probably not as much of a loss.

Are they working on anything new? I want another Persona! (Or at least a new DDS)

Looking Glass Studios.... the original developers of the Theif games. Dunno if they were absorbed into Eidos (which was absorbed into Square Enix... sort of).

The original Dynamix team who were behind TRibes and Tribes 2 (many went on to create Garage Games, but it's not the same :p)

There IS a Persona 5 in the works.

Also, I want Shiny Entertainment back, makers of many fun things, including EARTHWORM JIM.

Whoopee Camp with their Tomba/Tombi franchise, and Oddworld Inhabitant's side-scrolling department.

PopTop. Phil Steinmeyer created two of the best games I've ever played (Railroad Tycoon 2 and Tropico) but he's developing casual games these days.

Cyberflix games, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time was my first game. Amazing story, and the setting was brilliantly conceived. I would love to see them making new RPGs

I guess I'd have to say Rare, like the massive N64 fanboy that I am. I know the do still exist but I want them independent like they were in the good old days:D

And Black Isle Studios

....and Grin

Looking Glass Studios, the legendary minds behind the Thief series, plus Troika and Black Isle, both quirky PC rpg developers known for buggy but brilliant games.
