So it looks like D2 Remake, some calling it D2: Resurrected (saw on reddit, not sure where it started from), might be on the horizon.

I was excited for this news when I first heard about it, but then I remembered how bad the StarCraft Remastered and Warcraft 3: Reforged was. I am terrified that D2, a game that I lvoed for its dark atmosphere and exciting gameplay that can be played both single and multiplayer, will become watered-downed, microtransaction-filled, horribly unbalanced, mess of a remake

DIablo 2 was ever balanced? News to me.

But yeah after the complete travesty that was the Warcraft 3 remake I'm guessing most people are going to be thinking twice before pre-ordering this thing.

Gamers that actually pay attention to things are a minority so tons of people would preorder it cause its Diablo 2.

But D2 is a legit game if they just do a straight remake, and they don't fuck it up.
