Diablo

Well I'm considering getting the Diablo Battle chest due to how I like to play the prequels before or after playing the latest iteration, EG: Killzone/Ratchet and Clank. And because Diablo 3 is looking more interesting to play with every reveal that Blizzard does.

So my question is this:
Is it a good game and could I get into it?
I play a lot of RTS and some Shooters

if you're not some guy who only cares about graphics and if you can appriciate (hack-and-slash) RPG's just as much as RTS'es and Shooters; then yes, you will enjoy Diablo.

I can't speak for Diablo 1 but as far as D2 goes then definitely - assuming you like old school hack & slash's. I've been away from my computer for over a year and although I've got a lot more games that I could choose from I still found myself turning back to Diablo 2 LoD. You can pick it up and put it down at will and even though the graphics are now very dated it's still a great game and remains a real favourite of mine. Also it doesn't require a hyper computer to play so you can have your music playing in the background without any problems. I'd say go for it, and if you find you don't like it then it shouldn't matter as you can get it/them for virtually nothing.

If you want to have fun - yes.
If you want to see how WoW cannibalized one of Blizzard's older titles for its MMORPG - yes.
If you think cover songs are generally better than the originals - no.

I loved playing Diablo back when it was relatively new, and scooped Diablo II almost as soon as it was released. Both are incredibly fun with huge replay value (D2 is best online, with the Lord of Destruction expansion pack. LoD is probably the best expansion pack in the history of games).

It's okay so if your picking it up cheap go for it.

However i wasn't to particularly fond of it when it was a new game. Mostly because of its click to move interface.

If that isn't a problem for you fly at her. It just really got on my nerves after awhile. By after awhile i mean the third mission.

It's a great game with lots of replay value and a lot of mods so you probably won't get bored for a while.
